What’s new in the 2020 Chevy Tahoe?
Once upon a time, people thought that the 2020 Chevy Tahoe would be an all-new incarnation of the model. Alas, it was not to be. The 2020 Tahoe instead marks the final model year for the full-size SUV’s acclaimed fourth generation. The all-new fifth generation will instead be kicked off for the 2021 model year.
As a result, the 2020 Chevy Tahoe serves as the swansong to Tahoe generation number four, which is not necessarily a bad thing. After all, we enjoy the fourth gen Tahoe greatly. With this in mind, is there anything at all new on the Chevy Tahoe for the 2020 model year?

Changes and updates made to the 2020 Chevy Tahoe over 2019 are extremely minimal. There are no changes to the model line, no changes to the mechanics, and no changes or updates to the interior. Luckily, all these elements of the vehicle were already excellent, so this current year carries such blessings forward intact.
2020 Chevrolet Tahoe Changes and Updates
What was changed is that individuals can no longer get the vehicle with the Pepperdust Metallic exterior color option. To those that consider Pepperdust Metallic their favorite color, we do send our condolences. There are also new finishes now on the following wheels:
- 22-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels with custom silver accents (SGK)
- 22-inch Bright machined aluminum wheels with Bright Silver finish (SIY)
Finally, two packages are no longer available; these are the All-Season Package and LT Signature Package. May they rest in peace.
When will the all-new Chevy Tahoe launch?
The 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe is slated to be all-new, so that’s where you can expect to see a multitude of changes. This incarnation of the model is expected to launch sometime in the first half of 2020.
