How do you get started with Google Built-In? 

When you start setting up your vehicle’s infotainment system, you’ll be asked for permission to set Google as your default operating system. Accepting that will allow you to use Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play. Some apps may request other permission, like your location for Google Maps. Once you’ve accepted these requests, all you have to do is click on the app icon on your infotainment system to get started.

If you have a properly equipped vehicle, the only other thing you need is a GMC Connected Services Plan in order to use Google Built-In. You can easily purchase a plan right from your vehicle. Push the blue OnStar button in your vehicle above the rearview mirror to speak to an advisor about purchasing a plan.
