Despite the body style remaining the same, there are some substantial size differences and ensuing changes in capability and space in the fresh model. The 2021 GMC Yukon is substantially larger than the 2020 incarnation; clocking in at 210” long and 77” high, it beats the 204”-long and 71”-high 2020 model by half a foot in both categories.

What’s new on the design of the 2021 GMC Yukon?

In addition to the changes in dimensions, GMC has made several striking design changes for the 2021 incarnation of the Yukon. The model now has a taller stance and higher hood line, which helps to draw even more attention to the redesigned, sculpted hood and fresh grille. That grille is flanked by updated signature C-shaped LED lighting elements.

The more sophisticated roofline of the 2021 GMC Yukon is designed so that the eye is directed to the back of the vehicle, providing a sense of motion even when it’s sitting still. Chrome molding across the body accentuates this effect.
