This video provides a great visual guide to using the Multi-Flex Midgate. Take one minute out of your day to watch this quick video, and we promise you’ll be glad you did.

Four steps to accessing your truck’s extended bed length

The Chevy Multi-Flex Midgate can be used in four easy steps. If you watched the video above, you already know these four steps, but let’s review. Follow along with this quick guide to extend your truck bed:

  1. Fold the rear seats.
  2. Stow the seat belts out of the way.
  3. Fold down the Multi-Flex Midgate.
  4. Put up the loading stop on the tailgate.

How long is the Chevrolet Silverado truck bed with the Midgate down?

In case you didn’t catch this information in the video, the Midgate can expand the length of your truck bed by around three feet. The 2024 Chevrolet EV RST model starts with a bed length of 5 feet and 11 inches. With the Midgate down, you increase that length to just over 9 feet. Need more? With the tailgate down and the load stop in place, you have just under 11 feet of bed length, perfect for extra-long cargo.

Can you remove the rear window in the Chevy Silverado EV?

Watch the end of the video above for a guide to removing the window. Removing the window provides fully open rear access to the bed from the cabin.
