Trim levels of the 2022 Trailblazer
In all, there are four trim levels for the 2022 Trailblazer. The lineup begins much like many other Chevy models with the LS trim level. From there the lineup goes up with the LT, the ACTIV, and the top RS trim. In actuality though, the RS and ACTIV trim both have the same MSRP, so let’s look at some of the differences between the two.
Differences between the Trailblazer RS and ACTIV trims
Both trims do have the more powerful engine option standard which is a 1.3-liter ECOTEC engine that can produce up to 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. Both are also available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The ACTIV trim is meant to be a little more active and even off-road ready with features like a skid plate, off-road suspension tuning, 17-inch rims with sport terrain tires, chrome front and rear lower fascias, and leatherette seating.
The RS on the other hand adds black front and rear lower fascias, black bowtie emblems, 18-inch wheels, and cloth seating with leatherette inserts. In short, when exploring these differences, it all comes down to style, and what style speaks to you.
If you do intend to do some light off-roading, perhaps the ACTIV trim would be a better option. The RS trim on the other hand has a sportier look to it. It’s also worth noting that both of these trims have two-tone paint options available though the available options will be different depending on trim level.
