The process started by Joaquin went well at first and then he failed to followup with us and kept putting us off for details about the submission of the credit report. He kept sayinf he would follow up and we never heard from him. I had to call the finance manager Shami, who was amazing. He got all the documents ready and we signed them digitally, which was our preference. Secondly the sales manaher, Louis Leon stepped in, apologized profusely and made some concessions for us. He lliterally saved the deal. He treated my family like royalty. If it was not for him we would have gone to another dealership. I would definitely recommend this dealership. After being let down by two shady Kia dealers, I came to Carl Black, and glad I did. I can't recommend Lukas Rios enough, he was honest from the start and great to work with (two things rarely said about a car salesman!). He worked with me over several days to get to a deal that worked for me, but without being pushy. Everyone else at the dealership was easy to work with as well, and the fees were competitive and transparent. Even after the sale, when we transferred everything from the old car to the new car, Lukas asked to helped us move everything over and walked around with my toddler to distract him - he didn't have to do that, it was genuine kindness. Highly recommend Carl Black and Lukas Rios.

Was contacted by Josh brown about a danali truck I was interested in. He asked if I was still interested in purchasing a truck, and I said yes, but not with Carl black gmc. He then SAID.. not asked… “WHY? Cause you can’t get the low price you want?” I said because I don’t like the communication process that I received the month earlier with no one contacting me for 3 days after I inquired online and over the phone. He then said another condescending remark to which I said, see, this is exactly why I don’t want to do business with you! He said “that’s fine, you’re not a real customer anyways” I said I’m not a real customer??? He said yea, if you were, you’d have bought a truck.. I’m just like wow dude. You have no idea what people are going through in their lives and to be that condescending and judgemental cause I haven’t pulled the trigger on an almost $100,000 truck, he decided to be a disrespectful, condescending, arrogant representative of the carl black brand. I immediately contacted the GM Omar Rodriguez and have yet to hear from him regarding the issue after I left a message with his secretary. This is one of the worst disrespectful salespeople I’ve ever talked too. Absolutely insane the way they think this is good business practice. Josh should be fired immediately if I ran this place. Not only did he ruin this sale, any potential future sales, and all the possible sales that will never happen after people read the reviews I’m about to leave across all social media platforms from this 3 minute phone call with Josh brown.
