2022 GMC Hummer EV Reveal Viewing Information

The GMC Hummer is one of the most exciting vehicles to be announced in recent memory. Originally, the automotive world was supposed to receive a sizable dose of information on the model back in May. However, circumstances forced the delay of that reveal for several months.

After an extended wait that seemed it would never end, the moment of truth is finally upon us. Where, when and how can one view the official reveal of the 2022 GMC Hummer SUT?

The 2022 GMC Hummer SUT is slated to be revealed on October 20th, 2020 at 8 p.m. ET. It will be streamed live on YouTube (video below), as well as being broadcast during Game 1 of the 2020 MLB World Series on Fox and during The Voice on NBC. Here’s what we’re hoping to find out.

What do we know about the 2022 GMC Hummer EV?

The 2022 GMC Hummer EV will be a revival of the brand in the form of new battery-electric vehicles. Variations currently announced include a full-size pickup truck (dubbed a Sports Utility Truck, or SUT) and a full-size SUV. The former incarnation is that one that’s slated to be shown in the debut event on October 20th.

In the meantime…

As you wait with bated breath, tide yourself over by watching (and re-watching) the tidbits that have been released, such as this video detailing the model’s innovative “Crab Mode.”

Crab Mode allows the four-wheel steering system of the 2022 Hummer EV to move diagonally. GM has also teased a feature called “Adrenaline Mode,” which gets our adrenaline pumping just thinking about it. After all, this is a vehicle that’s promised to boast as much as 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque.
